Thanks to your support, our company will celebrate its 65th anniversary in 2024. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued support.
In 2023, price increases were again implemented in various industries due to the impacts of recent inflation. Under such circumstances, many companies, taking into consideration the livelihood of their employees, actively raised wages, bringing about a positive change in the social situation. I feel that this year marked a departure from the state in which wages were not keeping pace with rising prices and that we are now moving in the right direction with regard to inflation.
In order not to be left behind in this trend, the beauty industry needs to improve productivity and profitability for the entire industry more than ever. We will continue to contribute to the development and prosperity of the beauty industry with innovative products and services that enhance efficiency and financial returns.
In 2024, our new manufacturing facility, currently under construction, will finally be completed. Adjacent to our Kusatsu Factory, which has been in operation for 50 years since 1973, the new plant will be equipped with modern facilities designed to meet the ever-increasing demands of our customers and strengthen our production system to provide even more reliable and safe manufacturing and stable services.
In 2024, which will be a milestone year for us, we will continue to work as one for the development of the industry and, by extension, the sustainable growth of society as a whole.
